Latin Heat Ready to Fire It Up in 2006.
Fast Pitch Softball – Latin Heat – Los Angeles CA
The 2006 ASA Alliance Tournament Season is underway and promises plenty of talented teams, hard fought games and surprising upsets. The LATIN HEAT will compete in the “C†division against a challenging field that includes familiar rivals such as So. Cal. Hustlers, Level One, and Palm Springs Express. Several teams have beefed up their rosters with new talent and look to give the HEAT a run for their money. LATIN HEAT is fired up to face the competition and looks to make 2006 a successful campaign!
Be sure to check out the player bio pages, complete with baseball card style photos. Nicely done by their webmaster, Steve Reid. Thanks to David Carillo for the link and info.
Be sure to get a look at this one, it’s a beauty. (click logo)

From our friend Jason Gerbes, in Rotorua, New Zealand, a link to the team site for his team, the Marist St Michael Magic – (Rotorua, New Zealand We’ve also added thelink at our “Teams” page as well. Does your team have a site or webpage? If you’re not listed on our Teams page and want to be, click that “contact us” link.
Jason and his dad Jim were in Los Angeles on business recently, and managed to squeeze in a trip to Dodger Stadium, with Maddy and I. Jason had never been to a major league baseball game before, but is a big Dodger fan. As you can see from the photo, the Dodgers sent along a nice welcome. (That’s Jason standing, with the Dodger jersey) Jason, his dad and Maddy also wound up on the Diamondvision scoreboard in left field. No telling why they left me off 😉

Official ISC Press Release, via Al’s Fastball: ISC Moves Website
ISC Moves Website Now you see it, now you see it. Regular visitors to the ISC web site may have noticed some subtle changes to the web site in the last day or two. The familiar, mostly blue screen of http://www.iscfastpitch.com/ is now mostly white. And behind this change are many more changes to the most popular web site in the fastball world. The reasons for this relate to a decision to move from our old host site BlueGenesis to a new provider, Net Reliant http://www.netreliant.com/ The reasons for this were many and complicated but involved the retirement of our previous webmaster Brent Wade, a professional who has given the ISC many years of fine service. Brent assisted our ISC Web Director, Al Doran, with the technical side of the web site and produced a complete makeover of the site on a couple of occasions and automated many facets of the site including the Tournament List and Contact List but most notably the results page of the World Tournament. Al has been able to update the web site within minutes of the end of each game at the WT.
Click link above for the complete story.
A note from Al Doran, of alsfastball.com, the “holy grail” for news and information on men’s fastball:
For all Fastballers with a web site
eScribe is d-e-a-d dead, long live eScribe There are still a ton of web sites out there that were kind enough to link to us at the old news site www.escribe.com/sports/alsfastball/ PLEASE, if you have one of these sites, change our link to http://www.alsfastball.com – we will be forever grateful. And, if you have a web site for men’s fastball that we do not know about, please let us know. Check our “Links” section at http://www.alsfastball.com/ to see if you are already there. Many thanks Al

June 29 – July 2, 2006
We are pleased to share a link to the new team website set up by San Diego Primetime , the 2005 So Cal ASA League champions. The site contains a bit of history on the team, roster, player pics and profiles, and schedule for the 2006 season. Click logo or link above to visit.
San Diego Primetime is one of the 18 “C” teams bumped up to the “A/B” division of play for 2006. They will return the successful pitching duo of Dan Zupp and Billy Montana, lose a few of the former “Edge” players, and add the powerful left handed bat of Dan Plesetz. We’ve added a link to their site on our ever-growing “Teams” section.
We’ve added another team to our “Teams” webpage at Fastpitchwest. Is your team listed? If not, email us, jim (at) fastpitchwest.com and we’ll be happy to add you. Don’t have a website or webpage yet? Send us a roster and/or schedule and we’ll create one for you.
Village Inn Fastpitch, Minnesota’s Team Website
Hudson, Wisconsin
Another nice piece of work by webmaster Brett Bresnahan, who does the Minnesota Fastpitch and NAFA sites, as well as a handful of others. Incidentally, that’s Brett in the front row of the Village Inn Fastpitch photo on the front of their website, second from the left.
