Bar on the Avenue Wisconsin Tops A-1 Tank CA in NAFA “AAA” World Series

The Bar on the Avenue, Wisconsin topped A-1 Tank of California, 4-2 in the single elimination finale in the NAFA “AAA” World Series. The Tank finished 3rd in the “AA” and 2nd in the “AAA”.

NAFA “AAA” World Series Begins Tonight

6 Teams Vie for “AAA” Crown

The NAFA “AAA” World Series gets underway tonight, with each team playing 3 “seeding” games leading into a single elimination bracket. Six teams are on hand for the event at Appleton, WI, including four from the home state, one from California (A-1 Tank) and one from Nebraska (Tanner’s Omaha). A-1 Tank also competed in the NAFA “AA” World Series, finishing third among 29 teams in that division.

Cerro Gordo MN Tops Village Inn WI for NAFA “A-Major” Title

Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan Top “A-Major” Field at NAFA World Series

After several strong finishes, Cerro Gordo of Minnesota reached the top of the mountain, winning the NAFA “A-Major” World Series at Appleton, Wisconson with a perfect 6-0 record. Coppens Brigage of Midland, Michigan finished third.

New Image WI over Larry Miller UT for NAFA “AA” Crown

California’s A-1 Tank Third at Appleton, WI

New Image, Wisconsin captured the NAFA “AA” World Series title on Monday at Appleton, WI, with a 9-4 win over the Larry Miller Hogs of Salt Lake City, Utah. The Hogs reached the title game with an 8-0- win over A-1 Tank of California, which finished third in the 29 team tournament.

For the second time in three years, the NAFA Class AA World Champion
comes from the state of Wisconsin.

New Image of Monfort defeated the Larry Miller Hogs of Salt Lake City, Utah 9-5 in the championship Monday afternoon.

A-1 Tank of Long Beach, California finished third, with Earl’s Club of Kenosha, Wisconsin finishing fourth.

New Image’s Jeremie Holman earned MVP Honors as both a pitcher and hitter.

Larry Miller’s Cody Thompson was named Most Valuable Pitcher, Shaun Jamieson of The Bar of Appleton-Schaaf (Appleton, Wisconsin) was named Outstanding Offensive Player, Larry Miller’s Greg Kevern was named Outstanding Manager and Earl’s Club was awarded the Sportsmanship Award.

A full wrap of the Class AA portion of the NAFA World Series will be posted Tuesday evening.
