Romie’s Angels are still alive at the ASA “B”. After dropping a game to the River City Rockers today, the Angels battled back to beat the SC Tornadoes, 5-2. S. Boots hit a 2-run homer for Romies, while Shawn Ching blasted a 3 run shot for the win.

Romie’s is now playing the winner of Adco Tool Shed vs. Innovative Communications, Utah. (no report on the winner of that one yet). Romie’s beat Innovative in a first round winner’s bracket game earlier in the tournament.

The winner of that game would play the loser of a winner’s bracket semi-final between Luna Towing and Penn Power PA, while the winner of the Florida Fastpitch vs. River City Rockers game will face the loser of the other winner’s bracket semi-final between Wabash IN and CR/Adidas of Portland, Oregon. The winner’s bracket semis started were slated for 1pm today, Florida time.
