Ballparkradio Player Profile Form for ISF Juniors

Thursday, June 12th, 2008

Ballparkradio will be broadcasting the final four days of the ISF Junior World Championships from Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada, June 25-29, 2008.

In order to provide our broadcasters with some bio information on the players competing in the tournament, we have posted a short “Ballparkradio Player Profile Form” that we ask the players to fill out — especially if you are from a country that does not have player profiles posted online already, like some of those you have seen from the USA, Canada, and New Zealand.

Even if your profile appears on your country’s team website, we’d like you to complete the short form, as it will be added to our computer system that enables us to access information quickly while on the air, with all of the player information in one place.

Click here to fill out the form.

Keep an eye out for the schedule of broadcasts, due out any day now.

Look forward to seeing you in Whitehorse !

Video Webcast from Kelso Klassic – Friday Night, 8pm EDT

Wednesday, June 11th, 2008

Kelso Fastpitch vs. Southern Illinois Pirates from Royalton, Illinois – 8pm EDT Friday the 13th

The Kelso Klassic is in it’s 24th year and, for the first time, has been designated as an ISC II qualifier. Teams on hand include #21 Black Gold, #23 Memphis Posse, #31 Pete’s Blues and n/r Radom Falcons among others.

For the full schedule, click here.

From Jeffrey Profitt on the Illinois Forum.

KFVS-12, a CBS television station in Cape Girardeau, Mo. will webcast the first game of the Kelso Klassic this Friday night. Live. Kelso Fastpitch vs. Southern Illinois Pirates.

The webcast can be found on www.kfvs12.com by clicking on to sports and then webcast. The entire game will be shown and then archived.

Kudos to Rick Heuring and the folks hooked in with the Klassic for convincing KFVS to offer this webcast. This is a potentially great thing for the tournament and fastpitch in general. The station, depending on how things go this time around, is considering web casting even more games in 2008. Obviously a lot of hits on the site- and a good crowd- will do nothing but help. Fastpitch promotion is the responsibility of all who love the game. Now is a great chance to step forward and help the cause !!
