[Salt Lake City, UT] – Team USA Junior Men’s team will headline the field of teams for
the inaugural Carl Hansen-Page Brake Invitational men’s fastpitch tournament in Salt Lake City, July 14 & 15.The tournament is being staged as a fundraiser for Kings (Salt Lake) and Page Brake’s 18 & Under boys team (Salt Lake) and to showcase Team USA’s Junior Men’s Team, preparing for the ISF World Championships in Canada in 2008.
With three berths already taken, 9 berths remain for this 12-team event. Here are details:
July 14 (Saturday) round robin games will be played at Sunnyside Park in Salt Lake City.
July 15 (Sunday) 12-team single elimination bracket games will be played at Cottonwood Complex$350 entry fee payable to Les Vaughan and mailed to Les Vaughan – 262 E. 1950 S. – Bountiful, UT 84010.
4-game guarantee (3 in round robin and at least 1 in bracket play) Tournament is open as far as team classifications are concerned.
