But first of all….Coach Doug Davies has happily returned home from London hospital where he underwent
successful surgery last week. His first team catcher from the TienHoa ball club, Tom Clancy with the lovely Cecile
along, picked up Coach Davies and got him safely home. Doug told Clancy, that he has not felt better in months,
maybe years…

Thanks to the good wishes and prayers from the fastball community….I mean who prays more that a ball player…

Oh, I hope I get that rise ball now…

Oh I pray I get to that fly ball…

Oh I pray that bunt stays fair….

Oh, I hope the ump didn’t catch that trapped ball…

The KIP and Tim Wright’s annual qualifier….

InnerKIP is this weekend….the annual ISC qualifier…many of the local teams have qualified….but a few
are still looking to make the trip to Midland this August…

They include the Kitchener Outlaws, Wellington Sox, Ingersoll Crush, and the SP Juniors in the B division…
I like the Sox and Outlaws….

In the A division…..Innerkip Eagles, Hickson Reds, Shakespeare Falcons and Alvinston Indians….I gotta say I am not
familiar with these teams other than seeing the Indians at St Clements a couple of weeks ago at the Outlaw’s annual…

Let’s go with the Sox and Outlaws in the final…someone by one run….and the hope that there are two spots available
for the ISCs in Midland..I like to see both Ron Gilbert and Bob Hall making the trip to the ISCs …

Cobourg by the way, with some former Bridgeport Bravee members are in the eastern Ontario ISC qualifier in Napanee…

I can’t make the KIP this weekend… I will be watching the horses at Churchill Downs and maybe the Toledo Mudhens play Louisville in AAA ball..
