For So Cal fans, the So Cal Hustlers were eliminated tonight, finishing with a 2-2 record. The Latin Heat is 2-1 and still alive and will play the Memphis Dawgs at 9am Saturday.
Sixteen teams are still in the hunt, 4 unbeatens and 12 in the loser’s bracket.

Day Two
Both Cobb County and Killeen are updating their web sites on a game basis. Press the link at the top to get the latest info from Cobb County.Not a good day for the California teams at the “C” Nationals as Latin Heat is still the only team still alive in the tournament. Latin Heat lost their morning game against the Diamondbacks 15 – 13. With Auturo Salano and Cecillo Smalling splitting the pitching duties. The highlights of the game were Mario Ramsey’s 3-run home run and Martin Borgen homer. The lost sent them to play again at 6:00 PM against Sports Club of Hobeken, NJ. In this game Cecillo was in the circle and held Sports Club to 5 runs to win 8 – 5. David Carrillo had two home runs in the game to send Latin Heat to Saturday to face the Memphis Dawgs at 9:00 AM.
The Hustlers won theiri first game of the day against the Oroville Braves 9 – 5 and faced Akadema Sports of Galena, OH Friday evening. In the evening game the Akadema topped the Hustlers 8 – 2. I have been playing phone tag with the Hustlers but will update with info later.
