Marty Grant Tosses Perfecto in ISC Opener for Bombers

Pitcher Marty Grant tossed a perfect game, as the So Cal Bombers won their opening round game at the ISC World Tournament in Kimberly, Wisconsin, 7-0 over Stone Yard. Grant struck out 11 in 6 innings, as last year’s runner-up Bombers cruised to an easy win. Robbie O’Brien powered the offense for the Bombers, with a pair of home runs and four RBI, while shortstop Mike Butler added a home run as well. Adam LaLonde and Chad Boom had two hits each for the So Cal squad, who will play their next game on Tuesday at 3pm CDT against Midland Explorers, of Midland, Michigan.
