Argentina National Fastpitch Softball Team competes in Midland and Munger

The Argentina National Fastpitch Softball Team will make a return engagement to Michigan, visiting Munger and Midland beginning Thursday, June 11.

Last year, Argentina beat Munger, 9-2, in an exhibition game. The rematch is 7 p.m., Thursday, June 11, at the Munger Volunteer Fireman field. Admission and parking are free for all fans.
The Argentina team is touring Ontario and Michigan beginning on June 5th in preparation for the 2009 International Softball Federation World Championship that will be held during July in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The team is one of the highest ranked National teams in the world.

The Argentina team will also be play in the Boulevard Lounge Tournament at Midland’s Emerson Park the weekend of June 12th.
