OASA Midget Elimination - Sunday Results

The final day of play in Simcoe produced some outstanding fastball. The
weather and diamonds were terrific all weekend and the young men vying for
two places in the Canadian Midget Championships didn't disappoint either.
Elmira defeated Napanee Express twice on Sunday to capture the 2004 Vin
Walker Award as Midget Elimination Champions. In the final game won by
Elmira, workhorse starter, Dan Martin, once again led his team, wrapping up
the Barry Ellerbeck Memorial Award, as outstanding pitcher for the second
straight year. Dan threw in all 5 Elmira games and was the winning pitcher
in each. Both Elmira and Napanee advance to represent Ontario in the
Canadian Championships in August.
