     Picture perfect start to the inaugural World Mens Fastball 
Invitationalin Monkton!!!

A wonderful night for top-notch fastball.The Hallman Twin City Sting came 
out of both games tinight winners.

Game 1 - Sting hurler Don Scott vs Hailifax pitcher Robbie O'Brien.
After a sluggish start Scott settled in to record the win.

Game 2 Sting pitcher Jamie Simpson vs Diamonds fireballer Andrew Kirkpatrick.
Simpson throws perhaps his best game of the year in downing an equally 
impressive outing for Kirkpatrick.
Scott came in to relieve Simpson late in game to record the save.
Big blow was a 2 run HR byGrant Baechler - one of the very few hits 
Kirkpatrick gave up.
      AN EXCELLENT GAME!!

Attendance approx 750.

Expecting more great weather and even larger crowds for Friday - especially 
the epic match-up between Broken Bow
and County at 6:00.
