Subject: Canada West Masters Championships.....


         The Canada West Masters Championship Tourneys opened play in 
Saskatoon,
Sask. Friday.  The defending champions from this tournament, both men and
women, are the two Victoria entries - Wiley's Angels on the women's side,
and Victoria Athletics Masters on the men's side.

         On Friday, the women posted 7-0 and 1-0 victories to get off to a 2-0
start.

         The men also opened 2-0, defeating Yellowknife, NWT, 3-0 with Mike 
Piechnik
in the circle, then beating Portage, Man., 8-2 behind Sam Aldridge.  Steve
Harvey had a home run in this game.

         Still waiting for Saturday results!
