July 31
Middleton, WI

The Circle Tap Fastpitch team ventured to Madison for The Farm Tournament
and came away with a disappointing 1-2 record(36-8 overall). CT battled
FedLock and The Farm to 2 tight games before exploding offensively against
Earl's Club. CT was without Delarwelle in the lineup for the 2nd week in
a row due to a foot injury sustained from a foul ball in Allentown. Todd
Malnory has left the team to pursue other interests.

Game 1
2PM Saturday
#4CT 5 #6FedLock 6 8innings
CT 5 8 0
FL 6 11 1

CT sent Dewey Dyck to the mound as he threw a no-hitter against FedLock in
Allentown, this time with not as much success as he got tagged for 11 hits
while striking out 7. FedLock grabbed a 2 run lead in the first and added
another in the 3rd to take a 3-0 lead before CT got on the board in the
top of 5. With one out Kevin Reichardt reached on a fielder's choice and
scored on a Darren Derricks double. FedLock answered with a run in the
bottom half to make it 4-1. CT finally got the bats going in the 6th as
Chris Miljavac led off with a base hit and Robbie O'Brien followed with a
two run homer. Garvey was then hit by a pitch, moved to second on a wild
pitch and Dewey Dyck picked up an RBI double to even the score at 4. CT
would leave the bases full in the inning as well. In the 8th Jess
Ellestad picked up a base hit to knock in Dewey Dyck(international
tie-breaker runner). In the bottom of the 8th CT would get two outs and
FedLock's runner still on base. Pinch hitter Jody Hennigar was
intentionally walked. Steve Sell came up with a clutch RBI base hit and
Peck then followed with a base hit and the win 6-5. O'Brien finished 2x4
2B, HR 2RBI, Dyck 2x4 2B. The game would last 3 hours. CT left 9 men on
base.

Game 2
6PM Saturday

#4 CT 0 #2The Farm 2

CT 0 2 0
FT 2 3 1
This was a tight game again between these two but The Farm came out on top
again. The Farm put up both runs in the 3rd and that would be all that
was needed in this pitcher's duel between O'Brien and Martin. CT left
runners on 2nd and 3rd in the 7th. Jess Ellestad and Robbie O'Brien
picked up the only CT hits.
