There's a change at the top of the Intermediate Rankings as Stouffville
Mennos knock Kemptville Thunder out of the #1 spot on the strength of their
win at the OASA Intermediate Eliminations this past weekend. Four other
teams made the jump into the Top 10 as the season enters the home stretch.
Kemptville, Alvinston, Norwich, Tavistock, Harriston and Shedden Mission are
all off to the ISC II Tournament of Champions. Stouffville and St. Mary's
will have first right of refusal on the Eastern Canadians. Haven't heard of
any Ontario teams heading to NAFA "AA" in Hutchinson, KS altho' Hamilton
Hawks and Fisherville A's are going to NAFA "A Major". As always, the
current ranking is listed first followed by the previous ranking in
brackets.

1 (-) Stouffville Mennos - Won the OASA Intermediate eliminations this past
weekend
2 (1) Kemptville Thunder - Split squads made the semi's in Campbell's Bay
tournament
3 (3) Alvinston Indians - Beat four tough U.S. teams in own tournament
4 (4) Norwich Razorbacks - Finalist in the always tough Innerkip tournament,
but had a stunning come-from-behind win over ISC World team Peterboro
5 (2) Tavistock Merchants - Didn't play at the Intermediate eliminations but
their pitching staff helped teams finish second and third
6 (-) St. Mary's Gunners - Finalist at the Intermediate eliminations, taking
Stouffville to the "if" game
7 (-) Harriston Mercury's - Third at the eliminations
8 (-) Highgate Rock - Won the Alvinston tournament, beating some tough teams
along the way
9 (7) Port Elgin Blue Devils - Fourth at the eliminations
10 (-) Niagara Snappers - Won two tournaments in past two weekends in
Lockport, NY and at home in St. Catharines

Honourable Mentions:
Kingston Cowboys - Doing great in their league but would love to seem them
make a tournament appearance
St. Catharines Red Hot Chili Pepper - Tied for second in Dunkirk, NY
tournament with Twin City Sting due to rain, finalist in St. Catharines to
Snappers
Elmira Cubs - 13-3 for first place in their division in South Perth
Owen Sound Crunch - finished 5th at the eliminations and are atop the Blue
Water league at 10-3
Micksburg Twins - finalist in Campbell's Bay tournament
