The Richmond Boys Fastball Association (RBFA) is proud to announce
the
hosting of the 2004 Men's and Women's Senior B Western Canadian
Championships.  The Western Championships bring together 16 of
the top
fastball teams (8 men's and 8 women's) from across western Canada,
August
12-15, 2004.


Each team must have won their provincials to qualify for this
tournament
which guarantees that we will be truly seeing some of the best
players in
their 20's and 30's coming together in Richmond, including the
Linus
Software Stealers 2003 defending men's champions and the Winnipeg
Smitty's
Masters 2003 defending Women's champions. The City of Richmond
is located on
Canada's Pacific Coast in the province of British Columbia.


The eight men's teams competing are the Linus Software Stealers
of Richmond,
British Columbia, Duncan Pipers of British Columbia, Lantzville
Atlas Truss
of Lantzville, British Columbia, Earl Grey Rockets of Regina,
Saskatchewan,
Rustlers Bulyea of Saskatchewan, Fury of Camrose, Alberta and
the Black Sox
of Edmonton, Alberta.
