reading our initial quotes fromSeptember when we were named to
the team and I was quoted as saying ‘Icouldn’t even imagine taking
the field with USA on my chest and now it is a reality.’ Ithas

relief as she shutdown Italy withback-to-back strikeouts to end
the inning.

to right field and Kretschman singledthrough the right side to
put runners on the corners. Mendoza came through once again with

the final 7-0 victory.
