HOUSE LEAGUE SELECT CHAMPIONSHIPS

The P.W.S.A. is pleased to announce the successful completion of their
house league select championship pilot project tournaments that they
organized this summer.

The response that was received from the house league programs across
Ontario was very promising for the future of this program. Teams from
Chatam, Brantford, Orleans, Whitby, Bloordale, Peterbourgh, Dundas,
Pickering, Missississauga North, Sydenham, Brampton, and Barrie
participated in the inaugural select championship tournaments.

The results are

Squirt
Gold -- Chatham
Silver - Pickering
Bronze-Brampton
4th Brantford

Novice
Gold - Sydenham
Silver - Bloordale
Bronze - Orleans
4th - Whitby.

The P.W.S.A. would like to thank Pam and Ken Naylor and the Orleans
Minor Softball Association and Brantford Minor Softball for hosting the
novice and squirt select championship tournaments respectively.
