Arsenault pitches Jacks past Twins 

ABRAMS-VILLAGE - Neil Arsenault pitched four and one-third innings of
one-hit ball in relief and Jamie Caissie hit a two-run double in the bottom
of the sixth as the Wellington Arsenault Sawmill Jacks rallied for a 4-1
win over the Summerside Moosehead Twins Tuesday night. 

The Source for Sports Men’s Fast Pitch league game was played at Evangeline
school field in Abram Village. 

For the Jacks (7-13), Caissie (2-3, run scored, double, two RBI), Jeff
Gallant (1-2, single) Jean Aucoin (1-2, walk, run scored) and Adam Gallant
(0-2, RBI) led the Jacks at the dish. 

Leading Summerside (4-8) was Todd Richard (2-2, two singles, walk), Dale
MacDougall (1-3,single) and Joe MacDougall (1-3 run scored). 

Arsenault, who came in off a solid 2004 Midget Boys nationals with the
P.E.I. Twins, and starter Shawn Gallant combined to pitch a four hitter.
Arseanult pitched four and one-third innings in relief allowing one hit,
walking one and fanning four while Gallant allowed three hits, one run,
four walks and struck out one in two and two-thirds innings. 

Losing pitcher Neil Arnold went six innings allowing four runs on four
hits, walking four and striking out five. 

Wellington travels to St. Louis for a game with the Storm Wednesday night
at 6:30 p.m. at the diamond in St. Louis. Summerside plays a home and home
set with the Kinkora Hitmen at VIV Field at 7 and 9 p.m.
