Tournament Review- For the third straight tournament, the Elkland Fastpitch 
team won their first 4 games of the tournament, before dropping a tough 3-2 
loss to Keating Fitness. Missing several members of their normal team, the 
team countered with several new faces, and several "Blasts from the Past", 
including the return of former Elkland players Mike Krause, Dave Butler, 
and Dave Morano. A 3rd place finish was much more than the team expected to 
do, considering the personnel that were in uniform. But the team had new 
guys that were willing to go the extra mile to get the job done. Elkland 
returns to the ESA complex next weekend, with new pitching, and the return 
of shortstop Ryan Wood, and the teams leading HR hitter, Mike Rapacioli. 
The team will also again have some players on the bench in pinch hitter 
Dave Morano, and speedster pinch runner Dain Lindquist. Elkland hopes to 
have 2004 be the season that it returns to the "money games" of the Elkland 
Labor Day Tournament. Game writeups, stats for the season, and tournament
