Claremont Ontario

  The Claremont Rebels played host to the Stouffville Mennos in the third 
and deciding game in their best of three series
in Oshawa City And District Softball playoffs
A hard fought eleven inning game with Claremont taking the 1-0 win
The lone run in the 11th inning  scored by John Sharpe.
To start the inning,John Sharpe hit a drop in single ,Paul Koert a bunt 
single, an intentional walk to Evan Boyd to load the bases  Rob Watson hit 
a blooper single to score Sharpe for the winning run

Congratulations to Scott Evans and the Stoufffville Mennos for a great game 
and tough series.

Winning Pitcher Paul Koert , went the distance for the win with 19 K's
Losing Pitcher  Scott Evans also a full game   for the loss with  18K's

Claremont Rebels await the winner of the Bradford, Keswick series which 
will conclude Thursday night in Bradford
