In a pitcher's duel, Dan Konkle came out on top with a 1-hitter victory over
Bud Hanlon's 3-hit performance.  The only run of the game came in the
fourth.  Todd Fraser hit a one out single.  Then, with two out, Cory
Morrison hit his second single of the game, putting runners on the corners.
With two out, Dave Tubman was running for Fraser, the catcher.  A wild pitch
allowed Tubman to score the game's only run.

Both teams had only three base runners.  Team Easton had a hit by Fraser and
two hits by Morrison.  Bud Hanlon struck out nine Kanata batters.  WC
Electric had a triple by Jon Daley plus walks to Charles Ross and Trevor
Barton.  Dan Konkle fanned eleven Fitzroy hitters, with his rise ball
working wonders on a chilly evening.

The second baseman for both teams (Kevin Chevrier - Easton; Trevor Barton -
WC Electric) both made some excellent plays in the infield to take away
hits.

Game 4, will be played Monday October 4th at 8:00PM in Fitzroy Harbour.
