Fresh off a 13th place finish at ISC’s and a Canadian National Championship 
the Aspen Black Sox have taken a big step towards improving their team for 
the upcoming season with the signing of local pitcher, third baseman Trevor 
Ethier. Adding Trevor’s pitching and bat to the Canadian Championship squad 
not only will help them in their defense of the title but more importantly 
in their overall level of talent for the entire 05’ schedule. With the 
folding of the Saskatoon Merchants, Bronze Medallist at Canadians,  the Sox 
should benefit with the amount of available talent now much improved. 
Although we’re only into October Aspen management is continuing to look to 
improve upon their 04’ season, expect to hear  more signings and schedule 
dates shortly. Any teams interested in coming to Saskatoon on either the 
May 28th ­29th weekend or June 18th-19th weekend please contact Aspen via
