The Vancouver Grey Sox are pleased to announce the addition of catcher Craig
Horswell, of Prince George, BC, for full-time duty. The Grey Sox are now set
behind the plate, with Horswell to share duties with 26 year old Kris
Waverick. Last year's back-ups Sean Cameron and Eugenio Payano are also
expected to return, although both play other positions.

Craig is an accomplished veteran, who spent time in the Canadian National
Baseball program,  before focusing on fastpitch. In 2004, Craig did the bulk
of the receiving for Calgary Diamonds, 3rd place finishers at the ISC
Worlds, then joined the Grey Sox for our silver medal run at the Canadian
National Championship in Nova Scotia. Horswell also played as a pick-up for
the Grey Sox at the Nationals in Owen Sound in 2003, so he is very familiar
with ace Nick Underhill and the rest of the Sox pitching staff.
