Franklin C. Long




Franklin C. Rocky Long, 48, of Allentown, died Jan. 5, 2005, in Lehigh 
Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, of lung cancer. He was the husband of 
Amanda (Velez) Long. He was a financial specialist for Straub 
Chrysler/Jeep. Born in West Reading, he was a son of Joan (Guenther) Long 
and the late Franklin R. Long Jr. He was a member of Calvary Temple, 
Allentown. Rocky was best known to many friends as an avid fastpitch 
player, in which he excelled for many years.

Survivors: Wife for the past seven wonderful years; beautiful daughter, 
Sasha Marie Long, age 5; brother, Scott Long. A big man with an even bigger 
heart, Rocky will be dearly missed by the rest of his family and friends.

Services: memorial, 3 p.m. Saturday, Calvary Temple, 3436 Winchester Rd., 
Allentown. Arrangements, Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Allentown.
