The Vic Guth Tournament has commenced at Rosedale Park in Albany
with both the visiting Japanese and the Australian teams taking
to the diamond in the first rounds.

Metro were too strong for the Japanese Under 19 Boys  although
the Japanese mens team defeated Northcote in a well played game..

Play continues tomorrow morning commencing 9am

Under hot conditions the Vic Guth Tournament continues with excellent
play from the 15 teams involved.
Host Club United had a good win over Paremoremo  in the third
round of the day, winning 7 runs to 1.

Miramar remain unbeaten and recorded a win over Japan, 2 runs
to nil, with David Gollan pitching a great game.
Gollan faced 23 batters taking 13 strikeouts and giving up 3
hits.
