Bobcaygeon Jermyn Lumber continued their winning ways and have run 
their season record to 15-1.

The last two games have seen the squad score consecutive last bat victories.

On August 09, Sports Lettering Co. held a 5-1 lead over the Lumberman 
going into the bottom of the seventh. Hard throwing Dave Lembke came 
in for to nail down the victory but never recorded an out as Jermyns 
bats finally came alive. Jason Scarlett (batter) and Aaron Jermyn 
(runner on third) executed a perfect suicide squeeze to seal the 
victory for Bobcaygeon. Dave Taylor earned the win throwing a 
complete game for Bobcaygeon. Dave Lembke was tagged with the loss.

On August 14, Woodville was leading 5-3 going into the top of the 
seventh. Jason Scarlett hit a three run shot to give Bobcaygeon the 
6-5 lead. Woodville loaded the bases (two intentional), but Dave 
Taylor came up with two big strike outs to finish out what was an 
exceptionally well pitched game. Taylor finished with 16 Ks to keep 
his perfect record intact.

With three games remaining Jermyn Lumber has locked down 1st place.
