SRFL Finals Set



Two 1 run games decided who will compete for the SRFL crown in 
2005.  Minesing avenged their loss in the finals one year ago by ousting 
the defending champs from Vasey with a 3-2 victory.  Minesing took the 
series 3 games to 1.

Minesing moves on to face the Wyevale Tribe in the final.  The Tribe ousted 
Toanche in 3 straight games without giving up a single run.  Three Pitchers 
combined for the series shutout.  Ace Jason Giffen threw 11 innings and 
picked up 2 wins, Graham McNabb tossed 5 innings in game 3 and gave way to 
Giffen with the score tied a 0, and Mike Kelly pitched 5 innings in Game 2 
picking up the win.

The final has the makings of a series to remember as two of the best teams 
in the SRFL will battle it out in a best of 7 series to determine who will 
take home the championship in 2005.
