Aurora, Il.

The Aurora Fastpitch Softball Association, with a grant from the 
International Softball Congress, kicked off league play Sunday in Aurora, 
Illinois.

Five first year pitchers, including two pitchers that have never thrown in 
a game before, saw action Sunday.  Games are nine innings long or an hour 
and fifty minutes.

First year pitchers that pitched on Sunday:

Jay Armes (Blue Tm)
Pete Rodriguez (Blue tm)
Trevor Harris (Red Tm)
Dave Perkins (Green Tm)
Sean Cavasos (Black Tm)

Jason Iuli did a fabulous job running a pitching clinic on the 11th of 
September and now works periodically with a couple of the pitchers.
