St. George is located in the southwestern corner of Utah. It's a warm
weather retirement community with seven beautiful diamonds consisting of
golf green quality outfields with enclosed fences. There is a full service
snack open during the entire tournament. The ball park is situated amongst
the beautiful backdrop of red colored mountains and green trees and lawns.
There is plenty of parking. The ball park is located just a few minutes
away from the city center.

Many teams over the years have made this a family trip combining Las Vegas
and the Red Rock tournament into a super 3-4 day holiday. They either
arrive a day early or leave a day later spending a night or two in Las
Vegas. There are special group rates for 10 or more people. A few of the
players significant others spent the entire time in Las Vegas and were
joined by their men either before or after the tournament.

There is also a full facility resort located in Mesquite, Nevada just a
short 25 - 30 minute drive to St. George. It has many inexpensive hotels
and casinos. Some rooms in Mesquite last year were about $21.00

Getting to the Red Rock International Invitational:
St. George Airport: http://www.ci.st-george.ut.us/airport/
The St. George airport is located about 5 minutes the downtown area and
about 10 minutes from the ball park.
Las Vegas: McCarran International Airport:

The Las Vegas airport is about a 1½ hour drive North up Interstate 15. As
you approach the mountain pass approaching St. George, the view is
absolutely incredible. Be sure to bring your camera.
Driving by car from the Salt Lake City area is about a 5 hour drive.
Driving from Southern California can easily be calculated via Las Vegas.
Ken Hackmeister will once again serve as Tournament Director, Roy Stout
will be the Umpire-in-Chief and Josh Olmstead of St George Leisure Services
will be the Host Administrator of the tournament.
Umpires are from various locations around the USA as well as Canada. Many
have ISF International and/or ISC World Tournament experience. All of the
games have three umpires on every game.
It is expected teams will be from USA, Canada and Mexico.
Games will conclude on Sunday early enough for teams to make flights from
Las Vegas.

We are looking for a 16 team tournament again this year as there were 16
teams in 2005.
We have negotiated with the Crystal Inn in St. George at $73 and have
three rooms with late check out for each team on Sunday. All rooms come
with a complimentary hot or cold breakfast for everyone registered.
