Fall Fastball League A Success

Team Black entered the Fall Development League Tournament with a record of 
1-5.  After defeating Team Green, Team Black defeated Blue 5-3 in the 
championship game.  Tom Crouch (5IP 4H 2BB K 2ER) started for Team Black 
and Jay Armes (3IP 4H 3BB 2ER) started for Team Blue.  Tim Murphy (2IP 0H 
2K) finished the game and got the win.

The league was a success as many new players were introduced to the game of 
fastball and current players tried their hand at pitching.

New pitchers that were developed from the league were:
Pete Ramirez
Jay Armes
Trevor Harris
Dave Perkins
Mike Glock

Jason Iuli conducted a pitching clinic at the beginning of the year and 
coached pitchers throughout the season.  All of the new pitchers will throw 
in either a city league or for a  traveling team next summer.

A big thanks to all of the captains including Cooper Carson, Dave Schuett, 
Dave Perkins and Jason Iuli.  Also, a big thanks to the Aurora Fastpitch 
Softball Association for hosting the league and to the ISC for a generous 
grant of $500 to help with umpires and equipment.
