Subject: NZCT U19 Boys results - Day 2



There has been plenty of big hitting on day two of the NZCT Under 19 Boy’s 
Championships being played at Canterbury Foundation Park in Christchurch.

The big clash of the day came in the final round when the two unbeaten 
sides Canterbury and Auckland faced off. In a high scoring game the home 
team took it out 12-11  but it was a close run affair with Auckland scoring 
three runs in their finals at bat to give Canterbury a fright.

DAY 2 RESULTS – Auckland 14 Southland 4, Hutt Valley 13 Marlborough 0, 
Hawkes Bay 9 Southland 2, Wellington 6 Hutt Valley 4, Auckland 8 North 
Harbour 2, Canterbury 12 Marlborough 1, Hutt Valley 17 Hawkes Bay 7, 
Wellington 11 Southland 3, North Harbour 13 Marlborough 1, Canterbury 12 
Auckland 11.
