Play also started today in the New Zealand Community Trust Under 19 Girls 
tournament at Tauranga Domain, Tauranga.

Two teams have been leading the others on day one with Hawkes Bay picking 
up three victories while defending champions Hutt Valley claimed two wins.

Hawkes Bay who were runners up in the tournament last season have been 
setting the pace today with a busy schedule. The team from the bay opened 
the day with a 8-0 victory over Wellington, then backed that up with a 7-3 
defeat of Canterbury and then finished the day with a 5-2 win over Counties 
Manukau.

DAY 1 RESULTS:
Auckland 16 Western Bay of Plenty 5, Canterbury 12 Counties Manukau 2, 
Hawkes Bay 8 Wellington 0, Hutt Valley 4 Horowhenua 2, Hawkes Bay 7 
Canterbury 3, Wellington 2 Counties Manukau 1, Horowhenua 11 Western Bay of 
Plenty 0, Hutt Valley 11 Auckland 4, Hawkes Bay 5 Counties Manukau 2, 
Wellington 9 Canterbury 2.
