This is one of a continuing series of team profiles on the teams
competing in the 2006 AAU International Tournament January 19-22, 2006
in Orlando, Florida.

The Quad City Sox are merging with the Bloomington Stix for the 2006
AAU tourney. The Sox are coming off a strong top 8 finish in the ISC's
in 2005.  The Stix have made a good showing in Orlando the past few
years including a top four finish in 2004 and a loss to the eventual
champ Circle Tap in last year's playoffs.  Joining this year's squad
will be longtime ISC ace Al Rebling and Saskatoon's Jeff Farion.
Rounding out the staff will be Calgary's Trevor McCabe and veteran
Bobby Ginger.  Catching the staff will be two time All-World selection
Billy Kranz and in the middle of the lineup will be Chad Seeman a
recent US National team selection and ISC veterans Nick Needham and
Tommy Botkins.

Quad City is in Pool F, and will face CPI, NY, the Cherokee Pirates of
North Carolina, and the Texaco Pirates of the Bahamas.
