The Vancouver Grey Sox are pleased to announce the signing of outfielder / 
infielder Rob Giesbrecht to bolster the team's line up in its attempt to 
qualify for the 2006 Softball Canada Senior Mens FP Nationals to be held in 
late August in Prince George, BC

Giesbrecht, a resident of Landmark, Manitoba and member of the Softball 
Canada National Team talent pool, is regarded as a high calibre senior mens 
fastpitch player, having most recently competed in the 2005 season with the 
Broken Bow New York Spirit, and then joining the Grey Sox for the 2005 
National Championship held in St. Thomas, Ontario.  He is signed for the 
2006 season with the Fargo, North Dakota Kegel Black Knights.

Grey Sox Field Manager John Stuart commented on the signing: "Rob is one of 
the premier players in the game, and his customary commitment, passion and 
high level of play shown in each and every game will provide us with the 
necessary depth and leadership to play against the tough competition".
