Fargo, North Dakota

The IS Knights of Fargo, North Dakota would like to announce
the first of their new player signings for the 2006 season as
we welcome Roman Foore and Zach Goring to the team.

Both players will make the jump to ISC-level fastpitch after
very successful careers at the ISC II/NAFA AA level the last
several years.

Foore, of Apple Valley, Minnesota, has played the last five
years with Pate Bonding, Inc. (PBI) of West St. Paul, Minnesota.

Last August he was named the MVP of the Minnesota ASA Class
B State Tournament while helping PBI claim that crown. Later
that month he was named Second Team All World at the NAFA Class
AA World Series.

Foore will be looked upon to add some pop in the middle of
the Knights lineup while seeing time at first base and designated
hitter.

Goring, of Burnsville, Minnesota, makes the move to the IS
Knights after playing the last several years with ASB-Villard
of St. Paul, Minnesota.

Goring, like Foore, was named Second Team All World at the
NAFA Class AA World Series as well. Goring has also had success
at the ISC II Tournament of Champions the last two years.

Goring will be looked upon to play a utility role with the
Knights. His athleticism allows him to play any position on
the field outside of pitcher and catcher.

Manager Paul Lybeck is very excited about these additions.
“They are very different in their style of play, kind of like
thunder and lightning! One brings the important dimension of
power while the other brings incredible speed.”

“As the Knights continue to transition their personnel after
20 plus years with the same nucleus, they are intent on maintaining
their offensive and defensive balance,” Lybeck adds. “These
two only enhance that goal. In fact I dare say that our team
could produce two of the top ten defensive infields at the ISC
World Tournament.”

Look for additional player signings later in the week, as well
an announcement about the Knights 2006 schedule in coming weeks.
