JOB OPPORTUNITY - Softball Ontario Participation Program Co-ordinator

 

Position Type - Full time – one-year contract

 

Location – Toronto – Sport Alliance of Ontario – 1185 Eglinton
Ave. East

 

Softball Ontario is the provincial sport organization governing
the sport of Softball.   Softball Ontario is a council organization
and its goal is to promote and develop the sport of softball
for its athletes, officials and volunteers by providing program
and services at all levels of competition.

 

This position is an entry level position, ideal for the recent
graduate of sports administration or related field of study.
 We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working person to co-ordinate
our Participation Programs.

 

Responsibilities include:

·          Co-ordinator the School and Camp programs.

·          Co-ordinate the Learn to Play Coaches clinics.

·          Co-ordinate and attend Participation Committee Meetings.

·          Staff Community events to promote sport and new Learn
to Play program.

·          General administration of Participation Program.

·          Manage Program equipment and inventory.

 

Qualifications:

·          Degree in Sports Administration or equivalent experiences.

·          Ability to co-ordinate programs to ensure proper administration,
organization and delivery.

·          Knowledge of budgeting.

·          Good written and verbal communication skills.

·          Working knowledge of softball.

·          Knowledge of Microsoft Office would be an asset.

 

This full-time position is a one year contract funded by The
Ontario Trillium Foundation.
