The Ontario Amateur Softball Association is pleased to announce
the Men's
Provincial Tournaments for 2006.


OASA JUNIOR B PROVINCIAL TOURNAMENT


All Ontario junior men's teams not going to the Junior Men's
Canadian
Championships are eligible to participate in the OASA Junior
B Provincial
Tournament to be held in Smithville Ontario at Leisureplex Park,
August 12
and 13. It will feature a guaranteed 3 game format.


OASA INTERMEDIATE MEN'S PROVINCIAL B AND C TOURNAMENT.


All Ontario intermediate men's teams that do not finish in the
top four
teams at the OASA Intermediate Men's Elimination Tournament are
eligible to
register for the OASA Intermediate B and C Tournament to be held
in Napanee
Ontario at the North Fredericksburg Complex, September 1 to 3.
It will
feature a guaranteed 3 game format with teams being placed in
the B or C
division depending on their performance in the preliminary round.


OASA MASTERS PROVINCIAL TOURNAMENT


The OASA Masters Provincial Tournament will be held in Grafton
Ontario on
July 21 to 23. The tournament will use a pool play format. The
age
requirement for the Masters Division is players must be 37 years
of age and
pitchers 40 years of age in the year of the event. Winners of
the event are
eligible for the Canadian Masters Championship.


OASA GRAND MASTERS PROVINCIAL TOURNAMENT


This year the Ontario Amateur Softball Association has introduced
a Grand
Masters Division. The age requirement for Grand Masters is 45
years of age
in the year of the event. This tournament will run in conjunction
with the
OASA Masters Tournament and will be held in Grafton Ontario July
21 to 23.



AFFILIATION AND REGISTRATION


Affiliation forms are avaiable from the OASA website at www.oasa.ca.
Affiliation and registration deadlines are also stated on the
website.
A player may only sign ONE OASA registation form.
