Monkton, Ont.
 
The World Fastball Invitational, it's Executive Committee, volunteers,
grounds staff, and fans, have all been informed and are saddened
by the recent news of the McAvoy's loss -  Tom McAvoy's daughter.
 
Tom of course is the long-time coach/manager of the Heflin Gremlins/Builders
and many teams before these, and is one the most likeable men
one would ever meet. His devotion to the game, his teams and
players all stem from his wonderful, caring, and nurturing nature
of being a parent and father.
 
Our hearts, thoughts and prayers are with you Tom and family.
