Coaches and Athletes,

The OASA and Team Ontario are hosting an evaluation camp on the
Victoria Day
weekend in Kitchener. This camp will allow the Team Ontario coaching
staff
an opportunity to evaluate the athletes during competition and
a training
atmosphere. The athletes eligible to participate in this identification
camp
are born in the years 1989, 1990, and 1991. Softball Canada will
also be
sending representatives from the Junior Men’s National Team to
identify
potential athletes for the 2008 Junior Men’s National Team.

On the same weekend Softball Canada are holding a selection camp
for the
2006 National Senior Men’s National Team at the same facility.
This provides
a great opportunity to see the top players in Canada compete
for positions
on the national team.

Camp registrations will take place on a first come, first serve
basis and
the registration form can be found at our OASA website located
at
www.oasa.ca. To confirm your spot please forward the registration
form along
with a cheque for $190.00 payable to the OASA. Please print your
email
address clearly on the registration form for further communication.
We would
like to receive all registrations by May 1/06 to allow the staff
to be
prepared for this weekend.

All athletes will register at the Residence Conference in Kitchener
on
Saturday May 20, put excess luggage in room then depart for the
ballpark. We
will forward more details to each athlete prior to the identification
camp
in regards to directions to the Residence Conference and facilities,
and
clothing needed for weekend.
