Ontario Masters / Grand Masters News
Some important dates for Ontario Masters / Grand Masters Teams
to consider .....
OASA affiliation deadline - June 15th
OASA Certificate deadline - June 30th
The OASA Masters / Grand Masters Provincial Championship tournaments
are only 7 weeks away.
The Grand Masters division is a brand new division created for
pitchers and position players 45 and older, can be 44 years old
as long as you turn 45 before the year is over. This Grand Masters
division provides an ideal opportunity for older fastball athletes
to
participate at a fully sanctioned OASA provincial championship.
This new division should still be competitive but there shouldn't
be any elite level pitchers or teams. Why not put an all-star
team together from your league or reunite your former team for
a reunion type weekend with some good fastball.

The tournament will offer a Men's Masters division, Women's
Masters division and will be including the Men's Grand Masters
division for the first time. Same age rules as OASA Championship.
There is one Ontario grand masters team currently working on
their roster which will have at least 5 guys 50 or older
