The schedule for the 2006 Boys of Summer Open tournament held
at Circle
Tap and Denmark Memorial Park in Denmark, WI has been released.
The dates
are July 7-9, 2006. It has been dubbed my many as the "mini-World"
Tournament. Teams scattered from both coasts of the US and a
couple teams
from Canada round out the 16 team round robin tournament. An
8 team
single knockout tournament will be the medium we use to crown
the
champion. We are extremely excited about the quality of teams
that will
participate this year. It was very difficult but we had to turn
3 very
good teams away as we always fill up very early.
The crowds are always strong and passionate. The atmosphere is
electric
as you can watch the games in the stands on the deck of the bar
or inside
the bar through the windows at Circle Tap. Enjoy your favorite
beverage
or you can order food off the outstanding menu while you watch
the games.
Denmark Memorial Park 2 miles away will play host to diamonds
2 and 3 and
are of high quality with concessions at both diamonds. We invite
all
softball fans, commissioners(ISC,ASA,NAFA) alike to take in the
action at
one of North America's Premier Fastpitch Events. Here is the
