Rockford, Il.

The DeKalb Hogs swept Cedarville Wednesday night by the scores
of 5-3 and 11-7 to improve their record to 6-4 on the season.
 The Hogs are next in action Thursday night at 7pm in Yorkville.

Here are the recaps:

Game 1
Tommy Crouch was 3x3, 3R and Mike Drew was 2x4 with 2RBI as the
Hogs won 5-3.  It should also be noted that Chad Crutcher was
2x3 with a double.  The Hogs played great defense behind pitcher
Larry lagerhausen which included a great diving catch by Iqbal
Pedela in the seventh to preserve the win.  Lagerhausen  allowed
2 ER in 7 innings of work.

Game 2
In the second game,e the Hogs pounded out 9 runs in the first
inning and cruised to an 11-7 victory.  Shaun Cavasos, Mike Drew,
Vince Virtue, and Chad Crutcher all had two hits for the winners.
 Brian Tobin picked up the win to improve his record to 3-2.
