#22 ISC II JRW & Associates of Yakima at DeMarini Rose Cup

Portland, Oregon – What do the following nine world class pitchers
have in
common ……..

# 8 ISC ranked SoCal Bombers,
Travis Price
Tyson Barkman (18 yr. old prodigy from the recent Jr. Men World
Championship)

# 14 ISC II ranked California Lumberkings.
Sonny Perkins
Jon Nimmo

# 36 ISC ranked Prince George Black Bears
Sean Whitten
Craig Pidcock

# 16 ISC ranked CR/Portland
Mark Bennett
Terry Luster
Mike Piechnik (Rose Cup MVP)



They all threw against JRW & Associates in the Rose Cup in Portland,
Oregon.

JRW & Associates did have a measure of success against these
pitchers with
one HR, 7 runs scored and 17 hits. And this was with 5 JRW starters
and 3
ASA Class C pick-ups out of Portland to make 8 position players
for the
weekend.

Two of JRW’s four opponents - CR/Portland and the SoCal Bombers
- finished 1
& 2 in the Rose Cup.

It certainly prepared JRW for the flame throwers they will meet
in the ISC
II Tournament of Champions (ToC).

It is measure of some respect that most teams throw their ace
at the
Associates.

Line scores for # 22 ranked JRW & Associates games were posted
on Al’s
Fastball list and summarized on Jim Flanagan’s Fastpitch West
