- July 1 & 2 CANCELLED

Vancouver, BC

It is with disappointment that the Vancouver Grey Sox advise
local softball 
fans that this weekend's ISC Area Qualifier vs Portland CR scheduled
for 
South Memorial Park in Vancouver has been cancelled. The 2 teams
were slated 
to play a best of five series over the course of the weekend.
Portland 
informed ISC officials on Monday of this week that they were
unable to field 
a team due to player injuries.

Next scheduled action for the Grey Sox is July 8 & 9 when the
team travels 
north to Prince George, BC to compete in the inaugural Bear Country
Classic 
tournament.

Next home action for the Grey Sox is July 28 - 30 when the team
hosts the 
5th Annual Vancouver Challenge Cup tournament, with teams from
Saskatoon SK, 
Prince George BC, Richmond BC, Squamish BC, Portland OR, Yucaipa
(So Cal 
Bombers) CA and the Grey Sox slated to compete.
