Vancouver, BC

The Vancouver Grey Sox have commenced round robin play at the
innaugural 
Bear Country Classic event being held in Prince George, BC this
weekend.

The Grey Sox downed Portland, Oregon CR in their first round
robin game by a 
score of 3 - 2. Winning pitcher was Nick Underhill, who gave
up 4 hits and 
struck out 10. Losing pitcher was Mike Piechnik.

The Grey Sox return to the field immediately to play their second
round 
robin game vs the Grande Prairie, Alberta Pride and wrap up the
day with a 
third round robin game later today vs the hosts of the 2006 Softball
Canada 
Senior Mens FP National Championship, the Prince George Black
Bears.

We will continue to provide Grey Sox results as quickly as possible

throughout the course of the weekend.
