Applications close for White Sox coaching position

The selection process for a coach of the New Zealand Community
TrustWhite Sox team is in full swing with applications having
closed thisevening.

When applications closed four people had put their name forward
for thevacant position which New Zealand Softball chief executive
Dale Eagarbelieves is a positive position for the sport to be
in.

“I think it is a good sign that there are four coaches out there
who seethemselves as capable of coaching at the international
level andtherefore able to deliver the desired results at that
level. It can onlybe of benefit to the sport to have that sort
of interest,” said Eagar.

With applications now having closed Eagar says the selection
panel willlook to make a short list before holding interviews
over the next week.Eagar says he would like to see an appointment
made within the next 10days.
