WALCOTT, IA -- This Memorial Day Weekend will feature some great
fastpitch action in Walcott, Iowa.  The Quad City Memorial Classic
will kick-off this Friday (May 25th) and run through Sunday (May
27th).  Walcott has a couple of the nicest ballparks around to
provide an awesome atmosphere.  Good food, cheap beverages and
lots of fun are sure to be had by all.  Walcott is only 5 miles
from the Quad Cities on the Iowa/Illinois border.
 
Friday and Saturday will be pool play, with Sunday being a single
elimination tournament.  The teams and schedule are as follows:
 
Pool A (Wescott Park)

3) Plannger's Furniture
4) Reasoner RPMs
5) Blackhawk Athletic Club

The top two teams from each pool will advance to Sunday's single
elimination tournament.  Play is scheduled to begin at approximately
10:00 on Sunday.
