June 1-2
Kimberly, WI

The Circle Tap Fastpitch of Denmark, WI struggled this weekend
and
finished 2-2(10-4 overall) at the Grafmeier Invite in Kimberly
over the
weekend. This was a tough weekend for a couple of different reasons.
We
did get very good pitching throughout the weekend but our hot
bats turned
ice ice ice cold which resulted in two extremely disappointing
losses. On
top of that CT finally had to sit the leading hitter over the
last two
seasons, Kyle Magnusson due to a quadricep issue that's been
hampering him
this season and then we lose our extremely reliable 2nd baseman
and
sponsor for possibly the season, MRI scheduled for tomorrow.
He was taken
out turning a double play against Dolan & Murphy and has possibly
a torn
MCL.
