Senior Women’s National Team opens Canada Cup Schedule Tomorrow

 

(Surrey, BC) – The Canadian Senior Women’s National Team will
play its first game tomorrow, when they will play host to the
Dominican Republic in the 14th Annual Canada Cup  International
Women’s Fastpitch Tournament (6:30pm, PT). The Canada Cup is
always a very successful event, and this year’s field is one
of the best ever assembled, including five teams who have already
qualified for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing (USA, Japan,
Australia, Chinese Taipei, and Canada). The Canadians will be
looking to build off their success last year, when they won a
Silver Medal after losing to Australia in the Gold Medal Game.
