RAIN FORCES SCHEDULE CHANGE AT JR MEN'S

SUMMERSIDE - Rain has forced the host committee of the 2007 Causeway
Bay Softball Canada Junior Men's fast pitch championship and
Softball Canada to revise the schedule for Thursday's play.
Three games, two already underway, were postponed when forecasted
heavy rains hit the region, soaking the Very Important Volunteer
and field 2.
The schedule now looks like this:
The Saskatchewan Junior Diamondbacks face the winless New Brunswick
Miramichi Vics at 12 pm on the VIV Field while the defending
champion Newfoundland and Labrador Kelly's Pub Canadians take
their perfect record into a noon game with Simcoe Wildcats, the
Ontario No. Three representative.
At 2 p.m., Ontario no. two representative, Elmira Advance Millwright
face the host P.E.I. Source for Sports Twins at VIV Field.
Then at 4 p.m. on the main field at VIV Field, the much anticipated
meeting that could decide first place in the week-long tournament
takes place between Newfoundland and Labrador and Ontario champion,
Scarborough Wolverines. Meanwhile on field 2, the Wildcats and
Vics will resume their postponed game with Simcoe leading 11-1
in the top of the fourth.
At 6 p.m., East Hants Henchmen of Nova Scotia face the host Source
for Sports Twins on VIV Field. On the baseball field, the Diamondbacks
will take on Quebec.
At 8 p.m., the Wildcats will take on Ontario rivals the Wolverines
on VIV Field while the N.B. Vics battle Elmira Advance Millwright
on field 2.
Then at 10 p.m. on VIV Field, the Diamondbacks and NL Canadians
will complete their suspended game in the bottom of the third.
The host Twins will face Quebec at 10 p.m. on the baseball field.
